Revisión 396 [Shorts Skyvan – Airfix 1/72]

Otro viejo conocido de la afición. En su momento (1975) debió ser un bastinazo. Hoy, que el personal es tan estupendo y relamido, no gustan sus finos paneles en relieve y escaso detalle en según qué zonas. Con todo, se ve factible y tiene muchas opciones de acabado, gracias a la multitud de calcas que hay en el mercado. Seguro que Airfix la vuelve a sacar un día de estos, más que nada porque no ha habido otra en casi 50 años.♦

Another well-known oldie for 1/72 fans. At the time (1975) it must have been a hit. Today, when modellers are mostly so smart and fussy, they don’t like its thin raised panels and sparse detail on some spots. All in all, it looks quite buildable and has many finishing options thanks to the multitude of decals on the market. I’m sure Airfix will release it again one of these days, mostly because there hasn’t been a different Skyvan in almost 50 years.♦
