La conmemoración del siglo transcurrido desde la Gran Guerra dio para mucho en la marca británica. Fue por entonces cuando apareció este nuevo BE2c de nuevo cuño. Es sencilla de montar en parte gracias a las plantillas incluidas para ensamblar los soportes de las alas. Flaquea en el detalle externo del fuselaje, muy simplificado o nulo, y en las alas Airfix se limitó a copiar el entelado de otras maquetas, que no está mal, pero no encaja con el de este avión. Dos acabados con diferencias, uno de ellos el del primer piloto británico que derribó un dirigible alemán. ♦
The commemoration of the century since the Great War was a big deal for the British brand. It was then that this new-tool BE2c appeared. It is easy to build, partly thanks to the jigs included for assembling the wing struts. The weak points are the external fuselage detail, very simplified or non-existent, and the wings, where Airfix just copied the fabric detail from other kits. It is not bad, but does not match that of this aircraft. Paint finishes include two alternatives with some differences, one of them the aircraft flown by the first British pilot who shot down a German airship.♦
