Cualquier día de estos Airfix volverá a reeditar su maqueta del Clipper, una vieja conocida y la más accesible para hacer este avión. La copia de Minicraft está un poco mejor, pero suele salir por una gónada. Es sencilla de montar y el detalle es típico de su tiempo, pero aún asombra comprobar lo que pudo hacer Airfix con sus paneles en relieve. One of these days Airfix will reissue their 1/144 Clipper, an old kit which has always been the most popular to build this aircraft. The Minicraft reboxing is a little better, but it usually costs an arm and a leg. It’s easy to assemble and detail is typical of its time, but it’s still amazing what Airfix could do with those raised panels. The box includes the two usual versions: President Roosevelt’s Dixie Clipper and the Berwick, which flew Churchill back home, both planes with very different schemes.♦
