Revisión 665/ Olvidado Vanguard de Sword

Dora Wings no fue la primera en fijarse en el Vanguard. Hace un cuarto de siglo Sword ya tuvo esta maqueta que no creo que volvamos a ver. Es de serie limitada con todas las de la ley, pero en un molde limpio y bien detallado en general, más aún por dentro. En manos expertas se le puede sacar un poco más de partido, tampoco mucho porque lo que trae es bastante acertado. Hay copias de AZ Model con cubierta transparente de plástico en vez de acetato. Estas sí que puede que vuelvan a danzar por el mundo adelante alguna vez. Veremos.♦

Dora Wings wasn’t the first to take an interest in the Vanguard. A quarter of a century ago, Sword released this kit that I don’t think we’ll see again. It was a true limited-run kit, yet it featured a clean, well-detailed mold, especially inside. Skilled modelers could squeeze a bit more out of it, though there isn’t a lot of room for improvement since the kit is already quite accurate. There are also reboxes from AZ Model that use clear plastic canopies instead of acetate ones; those might well turn up on the market again someday. We ‘ll see.♦
