New from Das Werk. There’s no shortage of Bundeswehr soldier figures out there, but sets featuring pairs from different eras are likely far less common. A span of no less than 40 years and two different centuries separates these crewmen. The molding is nice and the box includes optional heads and accurate poses for the accompanying figures: one spends the ride by having a smoke, much to the horror of the guardians of modern-day sensibilities, and the other is bewitched by his mobile phone. Every Earth has its Moon, and every era has its men.♦
